Today I'm going to share with you a very, very well-written book series for girls ages 12-18!
Let's take a peek into 13-year-old Andrea Rose Carter's life in the 1890s on a large ranch in Fresno California. The youngest of six children, Andi often finds herself in trouble. Cattle rustlers stealing beloved horses from the Carter ranch (including Andi's horse Taffy and her foals!!); A family cattle drive gone dangerous with a cocky hired hand who steals the Carter's expensive cattle; A stuck-up, sity-slicker, charming yet rude, greenhorn cousin who arrives to "get some country experience" and ends up breaking apart the relationship Andi and her brothers have and thrusting her into a world of mourning and solitude; falling in love with the new wrangler -who turns out not to be a stanger to the carters!; living a not-so-boring life with her new husband; the list in endless!
